Kendra Keith
Administrative Outreach Manager
Kendra manages our volunteers, interns, and collaborations with other organizations. Her 28 years of experience serving people from diverse backgrounds allows her to build a great rapport and relationship with our clients; and makes her highly skilled in reaching people where they are to help them reach their potential. Kendra aids clients in identifying goals which are meaningful to them, supporting their personal goals and empowering them with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be successful. Her passion for coaching others led her to start her own non-profit, Changing Mindsets.

Delicia Ennis
Client Support Manager
Delicia is responsible for providing our program participants with individualized services to help them alleviate the barriers to successful reentry. She has over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. In those years, Delicia shares, “I have seen far more than my fair share of brokenness, failure, darkness, isolation, and psychosis - spread out like a unifying spider web amongst people from all walks of life. The suffering is as common a denominator as is the need for help and opportunity.” Delicia is very passionate about her work and very skilled in helping people find the resources they need and empowering them for success. She is also the Founder and Executive Director of Valiant Veterans, better known as VALVET, Inc.

Laura Kuhl
Business Outreach Manager
Laura is responsible for employer partnerships and preparing clients to be career ready. Laura holds a Bachelor of Business Finance from Notre Dame University of Maryland and a Master's in Human Resource Development from Towson University. In college, she played soccer and lacrosse. Before joining the MDRRC team, Laura worked at BWMC as a volunteer services manager initiating the workforce development program for the hospital. Laura is excited to combine her experience and skills to help with employer relationships and employee retention. In her free time, she enjoys coaching soccer and basketball, watching sports, volunteering, and raising her four children with her husband.

Brian Githehu
Social Media and Communications Manager
Brian is our Social Media and Communications Manager. He resides in Nairobi, Kenya. Despite the distance, he is able to make a real impact on our community and the work that MDRRC does. He has been integral in our effort to reach returning citizens through dignified, compassionate, and informative communication. He is passionate about serving the community and enjoys spending time with family, gaming, and culinary adventures in his spare time. He is an avid sports fan. He supports Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona, The Golden State Warriors and The New York Yankees. He is a huge Lionel Messi fan!

Vanessa Bright is a mom, educator, leader, author, and entrepreneur. In 2019, Vanessa started Maryland Reentry Resource Center with a desire to use her experience, resources, and expertise to empower formerly incarcerated individuals to become thriving and productive citizens in the communities to which they return. Her inspiration is focused on upholding human dignity and creating opportunities that help individuals and organizations remove the social and financial barriers to success. Vanessa is the author of two books, Dollars and Cents for Parents and Children and Create Your Life Plan Now: Your Roadmap to Reentry. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Georgia, an MBA from Howard University, and a Master of Social Work from Catholic University. She is also a Licensed Master Social Worker.
